John Walkey is an East Boston resident who has been a committed advocate for environmental justice and immigrant rights in his neighborhood for the past twenty years. Starting in 2017, John has led GreenRoots’ work in East Boston and along the waterfront of the Chelsea Creek.
In this free virtual event, he will share his work with Greenroots and a coalition of organizations to establish a microgrid for the city – and residents – of Chelsea.
